I created this after visiting Ann Packard’s stunning gallery in Provincetown, MA. I was so inspired by her mercurial landscapes that I not only began painting this painting, but I began a painting discipline as soon as I got home.
Sadly, Packard’s gallery closed when she got into her 90s, but I’m still inspired by her work.
